About Us

I am Emil, founder of investireads.com. I have substantial experience in investment and wealth management, which could be of good use to you, the individual investor. Much of this experience comes from reading and consuming knowledge, which later on is brought to use in a practical setting. I have many suggestions regarding what to read for the individual investor and how to operationalize it in such a way as to better manage your own money. This is the reason I created investireads.com.

Caught in the investment jungle

The investment jungle attracts many different people and organizations who want to help you become better off financially. Unfortunately, this includes get-rich schemes and courses that cost close to a monthly salary only to provide disappointing results. This typically comes from a mismatch between the investor’s wants (risk profile, investment horizon, etc.) and the services offered. Some investors are also so novice that they don’t know where to begin with their investment journey.

Why I want to help you

Taking matters into your own hands will provide longer and more sustainable changes. It is also more fun and exciting to invest your wealth without paying exorbitant fees for outside help. I call this financial literacy, and my goal is to help you become much more financially literate to such a degree that you no longer dread looking at your wealth and come up with ideas to protect and grow your nest egg.

The mission of investireads.com is therefore to challenge the conventional perception of the investment world and provide access to relevant information for developing investment strategies for private investors who want to take control of their own savings and wealth. We do this by reading and analyzing the most essential finance, economics, trading, and personal development books. In our assessment and review of books, we also draw on our own real-world experience to ensure that the most essential information is conveyed. In doing so, we cut through the noise and irrelevant information in today’s investment books.

No quick fixes

investireads.com does not advocate “quick fixes” or “get-rich quick” paradigms but distills necessary and relevant information so the reader can take responsibility and use this knowledge to take their savings and wealth to new heights.

In other words, investireads.com’s mission is based on an old Chinese proverb about helping people to help themselves: “Give a man a fish, and he will be full for a day. Teach him to fish, and he will be full forever.”

Our values

investireads.com is built on the following values that underlie all our work and the information we pass on to you as readers.

Honesty | Transparency | Development
